The water variant of the Via Francigena allows you to rediscover a forgotten world made of landscapes and atmospheres of ancient times. The wetlands are the master in this territory, from the ancient lake of Sibolla to the crater of the Padule di Fucecchio to get to the banks of the canals. The walk, in a little less than 30 km of plain, will take us from Altopascio to Fucecchio along the waterway… and in good part you can also walk with the boats of the padulani!
