Vol.1 describes the route from Canterbury to Lausanne. The route passes through England, France (Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Picardie, Champagne-Ardenne and Franche-Comte) and Switzerland to finish by Lake Geneva. This section is divided into 52 stages.
Vol.2 describes the route from Lausanne to Lucca. From Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), in Switzerland, it crosses the spectacular Great St Bernard Pass and guides us in Tuscany. This 725km-long stretch is divided in 32 stages.
Vol.3 describes the route from Lucca to Rome. This part of the Via Francigena, 400km in 18 stages, passes through historical jewels of Tuscany such as Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni, leading us into Lazio, across the centers of Acquapendente, Bolsena e Viterbo.
