The Scientific Committee of European Association Vie Francigene will meet in Monteriggioni

On the occasion of the Forum “Les Chemins de la Via Francigena” that will take place in Monteriggioni (30th January), the Scientific Committee of European Association Vie Francigene will meet for the first time to start research projects and studies on pilgrimage routes, landscapes and policies for sustainable local development and to support the European cultural itineraries.

The Committee is composed by:Fiorella Dallari (CAST of Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna), Maria Gravari-Barbas (IREST and Paris1- Sorbone), Lucrezia Lopez (IDEGA, Instituto Universitario de Estudos e Desenvolvemento de Galicia, Universidad de Santiago de Compostela), Sergio Conti (Società Geografica Italiana), Enrica Lemmi (Foundation Campus of Mediterranean Studies of Lucca), Gianluca Bambi (Department of Management of Farming Systems, Food and Forestry, University of Florence), Monica Meini (Department of Bioscience and Territory, University of Molise), Gloria Pungetti (Cultural Centre on Landscape and People of Cambridge and University of Sassari), Anna Trono (Department of Cultural Heritage – University of Salento), Filippo Pistocchi (University of Bologna).

The meeting is planned on Friday 29th at 5PM, organised in cooperation with the European Association Vie Francigene.
