Thanks to an agreement Trenord/ AEVF special tickets and discounts for pilgrims who want to reach by train some stages of the Via Francigena Lombarda.

By train up to the trekking routes and to the stages of the slow paths in Lombardy, for sustainable routes from the beginning to the end of the journey: this is the key to Trenord’s Train&Trek program, which for the summer 2020 is enriched with new offers, suitable for all levels of training.

The initiative includes a special ticket for the Pilgrims of the Via Francigena:

Trenord offers to pilgrims, equipped with official AEVF Credential, a 10% discount on the train ticket for the train routes along the Via Francigena between the stations of: Milano Centrale, Milano Rogoredo, Brescia, Palestro, Robbio, Nicorvo, Mortara, Gambolò, Tromello, Garlasco, Gropello, Pavia, Motta S. Damiano, Albuzzano, Belgioioso, Corteolona, Santa Cristina, Miradolo Terme, Chignolo Po, Lambrinia and, Orio Litta.

To take advantage of the discount it is necessary to enter the Pellegrino’s Credential number on e-Store Trenord or communicate it during the purchase of the ticket in the ticket offices of Milano Centrale, Milano Rogoredo, Brescia, Pavia or Mortara.

At the ticket offices of the stations along the route, Pilgrims can obtain, on request, the stamp of the stage travelled on their Pilgrim’s Credential.
