Bagno Vignoni, an ancient village, the jewel of the Val d’Orcia, Tuscany, was visited over the centuries by famous people, such as Pope Pius II for the beneficial properties of its thermal waters. The city center is represented by the “Spring Square”: a rectangular basin of sixteenth-century origin, fed by a hot thermal water spring coming from the underground stratum of volcanic origin.
