The EAVF at the International Workshops on Religious Tourism in Fatima

The European Association of Via Francigena Ways attended the International Workshops on Religious Tourism held last March 7 in Fatima (Portugal).
 
ACISO – Business Association Ourem-Fátima and the Municipality of Ourém  organized the VII International Workshops on Religious Tourism in Fátima from 7th to 9th March 2019. The Organization invited the Via Francigena, other cultural routes and stakeholders in religious tourism, tour operators from all over the world. More than 150 buyers, 150 suppliers and 40 exhibitors attended the event.

Prof. Anna Trono, member of the EAVF Scientific Committee, represented the association during this event in the panel focused on “Cultural Routes of Europe – opportunities and challenges for the competitiveness and innovation of destinations”. In the same panel Ms. Eleonora Berti, Project Coordinator of the European Institute of Cultural Routes, presented the cultural route programme.
