Call for papers for supporting european conference “the European Pilgrimage Routes for promoting sustainable tourism in rural areas”

EUNeK and EAVF are collecting abstracts submission for the International Conference: “the European Pilgrimage Routes for promoting sustainable tourism in rural areas”

After the first  Technical Meeting of the European Universities Network of Knowledge (EUNeK) within the 7th Final Workshop “PER VIAM PROJECT-Pilgrim’s Routes in Action Via Francigena and the Pilgrimage Ways” in Rimini (January 15-18, 2014), the EUNeK is planning events, activities and follow up actions for developing this scientific network related the Via Francigena and pilgrimage ways.

Prof. Fiorella Dallari is the reference person for the EUNeK, on behalf of the EAVF.

The second EUNeK Technical Meeting  will be held in Florence (December 3rd, 2014/ 14.30 – 19-30,) in conjunction with the International Conference “The European Pilgrimage Routes for Promoting Sustainable and Quality Tourism in Rural Areas” (December 4-6, 2014; call in attachment) and with the different network meetings.

This meeting in Florence represents an opportunity to stimulate our network and to submit our proposals and researches.

The topics of the first meeting were devoted to:

·         Heritage, cultural Tourism, cultural landscape with a focus on cultural routes, cultural itineraries and pilgrimage;  

·         Communite  events, workshops, expertise and exchange of students/researchers for cooperation projects and  researchs;

·         Shared research on common projects submitted by the partners, by the public and private entities and approved by the Scientific Committee;

·         A Call for EUNEK to develop research projects engaging all  interested partners in the field of action adopted.

Authors are invited to present an abstract of their paper and, upon acceptance, they will be invited to present the final text.

Deadlines:
Abstract submission: 31st May 2014
Notification accepted abstract: 30th June 2014
First deadline for registration: 15th July 2014
Final paper submission: 15th October 2014
