The new edition of the Belgian magazine “Les Sentiers de Grande Randonnée” embraces the Via Francigena of the South.

The spring edition of the magazine narrates an experience of the route from Rome to Bari. Brigitte Van Bunnen describes her two-part journey in 2016 and 2017. A reportage discovering the Italian landscape, not without difficulties, but full of emotion. Among the memories described is an encounter with a walking expert, Michele del Giudice, in Troy. Puglia captures the heart of the protagonists who, at the end of the journey, wish they could continue to Jerusalem. 

The magazine does not only focus on the south of Italy, it also dedicates a large piece to the Aosta Valley with an introduction to the Via Francigena.
