The Two Cathedrals Walk
On 1 March, a walk will be held to celebrate the modern 2000kms route joining Canterbury to Rome. The aim of the event is to celebrate and acknowledge the importance of Sigeric to the modern Francigena.
It will be a guided walk from Westmister RC Cathedral (near Victoria Station) to St. George RC Cathedral in Southwark. The walk is connected to the Annual Conference that will be held on 2 March at St. George’s Cathedral.
Departure for the walk is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. from Westmister Cathedral, arrival is planned for 1:00 p.m.
The event is organised by the Confraternity of Pilgrims to Rome.
