Leg 26 - From Pietrasanta to Lucca

Right after Pietrasanta we can visit the ancient city of Pieve of S. Giovanni and continue going up and down through the Lucchese hills.
 After visiting the city centre of Camaiore and the old Abbey, we will climb Monte Magno. From here we will cross the 1 Freeway, which is sometimes dangerous along the sides because of vehicular traffic. In Piazzano we will go down the valley of the Contesola stream and, after going up the Serchio in Ponte San Pietro, arrive in Lucca. There is a water supply, road-houses in Camaiore, Monte Magno, Valpromaro, San Macario in Piano.
