Photography festival between Tuscany and Emilia to narrate the Francigena

Everything is ready for the opening of Obiettivo sulla via Francigena, the festival born to celebrate the ancient route, that has today returned once more, in the tract between Berceto and Aulla.  

Six legs of the Apennines that, in July, will be united in the photographic competition taking place to narrate the beauty of places along the walk of Sigeric.  The project, realised by the municipality of Pontremoli and Lunicafoto, with the support of the Eurpoean Association of the Vie Frangigene and the collaboration of Sigeric, the municipality of Bercetothe Cisa hostel, Eremo Gioioso B&BSan Lorenzo hostelFarfalle in Cammino for the Centro Didattico Pieve di Sorano and Amici di San Caprasio for their museum - in this way, pilgrims and tourists will be able to rediscover the border that has been an important passage for millennia.  

Here is what we will find from 1st to 30th July:

 - by Ilaria Canali, among other things, the communications manager of FederTrek, “Ad occhi chiusi. Francigena da Sogno” in the Council hall of the municipality of Berceto;
 - by Mimmo Lanzafame, creator of the photographs of Le energie invisibili, “Da Milano a Roma in cammino” to be confirmed, at the Eremo Gioioso B & B;
 - by Graziano Perotti, among the most significant contemporary photographers, “Ora et Labora” at the old Convento dei Cappuccini di Pontremoli;
 - by Gigi Montali, prominent reporter and landscape artist, “Lungo la Via” in the San Caprasio di Aulla museum. And, if Lunicafoto display the photos at all'Ostello della Cisa, the Circolo La Torre di Arcola will narrate, in a series of 50 photographs, “La via Francigena in Lunigiana” at the Centro Didattico Pieve di Sorano, in Filattiera.

Extra leg: Toplecca, where Alessandro Bocchi and Cristina Zanoni, in their Taberna Potami Veg, will await the most curious with an extraodinary collection of nineteenth-century cameras and lenses.
